Project Description
VBZ Grapes is a leading provider of table grapes and cherries founded in the 1930’s. Part of the success of the farming operation is their commitment to using the latest technologies to provide a better product and to be mindful of sustainability.
REC Solar built a 1.13 megawatt system to offset over 50% of the energy needs of the VBZ Grapes cooling facility.
“Installing solar panels allows us to be more self-sufficient in energy usage and production, and it just makes sense to counter the huge cost of energy rate increases. It has been both a satisfying and very efficient experience working with REC Solar.”
John Zaninovich, VBZ Grapes Owner
