Project Description

Valley Fine Foods is a family owned gourmet food manufacturer built on core values of customer service and quality products. As the company expanded, they wanted to offset rising energy bills by maximizing the space available at two different California facilities. While they initially evaluated wind energy, the energy production and return on investment for solar proved to be a better fit for the company’s goals.

REC Solar was selected to build a rooftop system in Benicia, along with an array combining rooftop and ground mount systems at the Yuba City facility. Together, the systems offset a majority of energy costs for the building’s larger meters.
