Project Description
Haas Automation is the largest CNC machine tool builder in the western world. The manufacturing company sought to reduce their carbon footprint and help preserve the environment while cutting energy costs in their manufacturing facility in Oxnard, California.
REC Solar partnered with Renusol to provide two rooftop systems totaling 1739.68 kW, that will generate an estimated 1.25 million kilowatt hours of clean energy per year.
“It is estimated that the solar panels will save the Haas Automation more than $500,000 a year, making the move to green not only environmentally friendly, but bottom-line friendly, as well.”HAAS Automation Blog
