Unforeseen problems may lower or stop the energy production completely. A system failure affects your peak demand and could drastically increase your monthly energy bill. Alarming ensures notice of the failure and allows prompt action. Problems will not go undetected.
System Maintenance
Under normal circumstances, no equipment maintenance is required. You are responsible for maintaining the connection between your monitoring system and the Internet. If your monitoring system fails to report to our server as expected, the email address designated on your original order will receive an automated alert. These alerts continue every 24 hours until the system reports again.
Most failures are problems with the on-site, customer-maintained network connection. In the event of an equipment failure, REC Solar will work with you to identify the problem. We will repair or replace the defective equipment if deemed necessary. REC Solar Monitoring comes with a 5-year warranty from the date of install.
