This solar array will offset 35-45% of the hotel’s energy costs (mostly generated by HVAC and 24/7 lighting usage) and provide shade to 30 visitor parking spaces. This project allows the Bakersfield North Airport Hampton Inn to realize significant energy cost reductions while promoting sustainability as a part of their corporate marketing and environmental initiatives.
EL CHORRO LODGE
Paradise Valley | Arizona 142 kW
REC Solar designed and installed the unique 142.6 kW solar canopy project which included three separate, fixed-tilt carport structures located in the lodge parking lot. The system was constructed on a compressed timeline and produces approximately 215,000 kilowatt hours annually.
Fullerton | California 1.16 MW
As the CSU Fullerton campus continues to incorporate sustainable energy sources onto their main campus, REC Solar was brought on board by AECOM to procure and install a 1.16 MW roof and carport mounted solar system. The project was constructed within the required summer schedule to accommodate the fall school session and presence of students and faculty.
