REC Solar has recently installed a 680 kW (DC) solar electric system on the Costco Wholesale Corporation’s warehouse in Kona, HI. The solar electric system located at the Kona, HI Costco is comprised of 3,888 Mitsubishi 175UD4 panels, two Xantrex 225S-480-P inverters and one Xantrex 100S-480-P inverter. Additionally, the system includes a web-based monitoring system provided by Energy Recommerce. The web based monitoring system will allow Costco to track and store their system's energy output along with other vital information.
