REC Solar was competitively awarded a turnkey solar installation contract at the San Dimas Technology and Development Center (SDTDC) to design and install a fixed-axis ground mounted PV system. The solar project generates enough power to provide for the majority of the electrical needs of the facility. In fact, the budget allowed for additional power to be produced and is purchased by the utility to help defray the cost of other SDTDC utilities, such as natural gas and water.
