Alban Vineyards is the first American winery and vineyard established exclusively for Rhone grape varietals. They also hold the distinction of being one of the first wineries on the Central Coast to invest in a solar energy system.

Three separate solar systems were installed at Alban Vineyards: a 36 kW for the winery production facility, a 11.6 kW system for the agricultural water pump, and one for the Alban’s home. Not only is Alban among the leading producers of fine wines in California, but they can now also say that they are one of the most ecologically friendly wineries.
